I just got this one yesterday. First of all, this monitor looks great even while it's turned off. After turning it on, I think it's the best monitor I've ever used so far. The picture is crisp (1000:1 contrast ratio), the colors are just right, and it's freaking big. For $310 bucks on Amazon, it's a steal.
I did have a problem getting HP w2007 monitor to work with my NVidia GeForce FX 5200 video card. I think the video card is to blame here, though. By default this card did not recognize the preferred monitor resolution (1680x1050). In order to get the correct resolution and get rid of the resulting blurriness I had to do some research and apply some manual settings as described here:

Overall, I highly recommend this monitor.

The price is right, the image is bright. A really great alternative to the Apple Studio Display.

evaldas: the w2207 is fine (i got mine in november), but has a problem. as i heard HP uses panels from 3 different suppliers. At least some of them are said to be crap.
