I watched this interview 9 years ago with my dad and there was something Dustin Hoffman said that resonates every day of my life and shapes the decisions I make. Hoffman was recounting the time he was shooting a scene on the roof of a skyscraper and panicked and shaking, he told the director he was afraid of heights and couldn't do the scene. He then said the director put his arm around him and told him it wasn't the height he was afraid of but the little voice in his head that told him to jump. (via Amazon)
