I am fascinated by religious iconography. Especially those from Hinduism and Catholicism.

The elephant-headed Ganesh is my favorite Hindu deity, being the God of Wisdom and "remover of obstacles". Said also to be the "keeper of the records of knowledge," Ganesha exudes a calming aura as he affects positively the space he occupies. He reclines for a comfortable rest, holding in one hand a mystical chain symbolic of life's cycles. Wayan Kandiyasa sculpts his divine image from sandstone with masterful care for detail.
