Lighting really can make or break a room. I was looking at a condo the other day that had a door on the ceiling as a light fixture. Now, while it worked wonderfully in their kitchen, I'm not sure if I could pull it off. This light fixture on the other hand I adore! I think a set of tree hanging above my dining room table would be awesome. Or perhaps just one above my desk?

It's the appearance of paper that I appreciate. The delicate snowflake floral cover...even though it's not delicate (thankfully!) it's tyvek. I prefer the solid colors (particularly the red and yellow) but the graduated two color ones are nice as well.

I have loved this light for years, but have yet to purchase one for myself as I don't really have any good place to hang it! I'm going to do my best this year to get my hands on one and put it to good use because I love the garland effect of the tyvek shade, and after seeing one hanging in a furniture retailer, I'm addicted.

I think this would be lovely in a kid's room, especially for babies, young girls, or in forest themed rooms, perhaps in a grouping or in a row. I also think it make a nice mobile with a low wattage reflective bulb, or even no bulb at all.
