Drugstore: Ultimate Sport Sunblock Lotion, SPF 70+ by Neutrogena
Now that the sun is getting stronger and the weather more mild, we are all more eager to take everything - including our workouts - outside. Don't let the sunburn (and all of its icky side effects) keep you inside. Slather some of this amazingly sweat-proof cream to help you go the distance and safely soak in those rays.
Sadly, Neutrogena discontinued their cool, blue-bottled, very functional sports sunblock (http://bit.ly/rloVh), but this seems to take its place quite well. In the ever escalating SPF wars, they upped this little bottle to SPF 70 - plenty high for anyone. It has their proprietary helioplex formula, which blocks UVA + UVB rays very effectively and for long periods of time. It's waterproof, sweat-proof, and resists rub-off, and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores or cause pimples). I tried it and I like it. It's a teeny-tiny bit thicker than the old sport lotion, but barely. It's pretty easy to smooth all over your face, leaving no white residue. It does seem to last a few hours and is pretty sweat and rub resistant because of matifying silica (to a point). Best of all, it doesn't run into your eyes and won't sting them! Highly recommend for active sunblock needs, or even daily use. I don;t know how well it works under makeup but I imagine it would pretty well, otherwise try their UltraSheer line.
