I don't think I know any people who are so fanatical about pickles that they'd want to adorn their tree with them... but this one reminds me of eating at the Spicy Pickle (delicious sandwiches!).

Hi! just wanted to share some useless information, i *think* the story goes that back in the day, you hid a pickle in your christmas tree, and on christmas morning, the person who finds it first gets a special present.
You could probably google a better story than that, but I'm sure it's something close. Anyway, hence the pickle ornament.
