SquareTrade provides warranties on consumer electronics no matter where they are purchased. SquareTrade warranties cost 30-50 percent less than those you might find at Best Buy or any other major retailer. The warranties are managed online and are fully transferable. They also offer warranties on used and refurbished items purchased on eBay. The best part about their warranty is the five day guarantee. They will fix your item or reimburse you within five days. SquareTrade allows you to transfer your warranty or file a claim all from their online interface. SquareTrade also has a simple contract that is easy to read and applies to all items they cover.
SquareTrade also provides a seal service for eBay sellers where they verify their identity and ensure high selling standards so buyers have a better experience. Having the SquareTrade seal on my site has increased conversions and selling warranties has made me a few extra bucks as well.
SquareTrade also provides an online dispute resolution service for eBay members. If there is a dispute, SquareTrade will help both parties come to a reasonable solution.
