this is different from other seedling kits because the gel medium is transparent so you can see the whole process from germination to plant. very cool in an old school mr. wizard kinda way.

It's that first grade bean growing project again... only SO MUCH BETTER!! Technology highlights nature to very cool effect in these planters. If I'd had one of these when I was six I might have had an easier time remembering what a cotlydon was in 8th. That's ok- these make me want to learn the parts of a plant all over again.

oooh so much better than my 1st grade project of growing the beans in the plastic bag! my dog promptly ate them so i never got to watch them grow... this is super cool i may have to nab one for my desk and re-live my 1st grade horticulturalist dreams.
