The New Standard is the original skinny jean. Neither low nor high rise, the New Standard by the French label A.P.C., is a classic unisex jean. Vanity sized, so buy it one or two sizes down from the tagged size depending on how tight or loose you’d like them. Inseams run very long. Made of Selvage Denim.

The quintessential pair of raw denim for those starting out in the game and veterans alike. They are a flattering pair of slim (not skinny) jeans that will exhibit excellent wear marks given the right attention (wear them often, and don't wash). The best part is the price (Under $120, usually).
