The greatest documentary ever filmed?

Even if you're not a fan of the Flaming Lips, you WILL be after you see this film.

Bradley Beesley was neighbor to bandleader Wayne Coyne during the earlier years of the Flaming Lips. As a film-guy, he became the de facto director of all their music videos. But even when they weren't shooting a video, the cameras were still rolling... this documentary gives you an in-depth peak into the creative process over many years and, ultimately, the human condition.

You can't help but feel humbled... particularly after an intimate glimpse into the very real consequences of hard drug abuse as the musical cornerstone of the band prepares to shoot up in front of the camera.

But it gets better. Through it all you will leave this film happy, and INSPIRED.

And hopefully motivated... The Flaming Lips didn't become famous by accident. When you watch Coyne in this film, you will see one of the hardest working men in show business... as well as one of the kindest and most down-to-earth ANYWHERE.

If you like music, The Flaming Lips or documentaries in general, I think you'll like this. It's a look at the flaming lips spanning over 20 years. From Coynes extreme druge use, to his dulled down, but I'm still ridiculous and making movies about aliens having babies on Christmas. This is an awesome ride of a movie.
