Not sure how this thing tells you the time, but I do know it will help you to stop worrying about it so much. The clock uses rounded out times such as "it's almost 7" or "it's past 6 o'clock" to keep you from planning life out down to the minutes. And it rolls around your desk/tabletop in a meditative way that may help you relax, as well.
