It tells the time, not with numbers, but by slowly rolling along one long continuous sentence written around it. So instead of a clock that says 7:55, this one would say something like "maybe more like around eight". If dead on time accuracy is what you need, look elsewhere, but if you need a uniquely weird and stylish clock that helps you to quit worrying about time all the time and still keep you somewhat on time, this one is definitely worth a look. Not sure how this thing tells you the time, but I do know it will help you to stop worrying about it so much. The clock uses rounded out times such as "it's almost 7" or "it's past 6 o'clock" to keep you from planning life out down to the minutes. And it rolls around your desk/tabletop in a meditative way that may help you relax, as well.
