Who doesn't know Ofra Haza, Israel's musical ambassador at the 1983 Eurovision (where she performed "Chai" and ranked second) and performer of movie soundtracks (such as "Prince of Egypt" or "La Reine Margot"). "Im Nin'Alu", a chart breaking single in 1988, eventually made her famous all over the world.

"Yemenite Songs" is probably a lesser known album of Ofra Haza, but it is nevertheless a beautiful one. Being of Yemenite origin herself, she performs popular Yemenite-Jewish songs, such as "Im Nin Alu" or "Ode leEli". The songs are sung in Aramaic.
