Bought this bluetooth mouse in conjunction with my Kensington - USB Bluetooth Micro Adapter (See review also on this item). Since my laptop did not have built in bluetooth capability. Excellent response time, has an on and off switch on the bottom of the mouse so it doesn't drain power. Also has another button at the bottom to activate the signal between the mouse and your computer. The response time to me is faster with a bluetooth mouse than with an infrared receiver mouse. Great product highly recommend.

Microsoft launched the new Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000($50 Pre-order) designed for the packed the buletooth notebook that wireless mousing without the need for any transceiver sticking out of your USB port. This laser mouse packed a battery status light. The Mouse 5000 except the left, right click and scroll wheel, add a 4th back button for easier web navigation. Microsoft say the Mouse 5000 has up to 3 months of battery life, and included turn on/off button to keep more battery power. (via likecool.com)
