I have to confess, all the new Lotta Jansdotter bags, baby items, table linens, and calendars got me in a bit of tizzy last night. We discussed her pieces in our office yesterday and after our discussion I couldn’t stop thinking about them. On my walk home I kept trying to rationalize why I need to get a Tang wool tote and a Redig linen messenger bag and a Chick wool zipper bag and a Redig Square Cross apron and a 2008 fabric calendar. Then I thought of my sister’s soon to be new baby who will need new clothes, especially an Elephant Romper and Beany. Then I thought of all the other people who I know would LOVE one of her items for the holidays. When I got home I went straight for the computer ready to make a big purchase, but then I told myself, “Ali, you need to calm down, take a deep breath, and sleep on it before you spend all your money.” Aamazingly, that is what I did. Watch out though, today could be a heavy spending day! (via Design Public)
