I looooooove "Amelie". I caught it by chance in the park at the Telluride Film Festival way back in the day before it hit big. I was bundled up, there were fireflies, and there was Amelie. Perfect.

Amelie is my go-to feel-good movie that I could watch over and over. Definitely one of the top 3 I'd bring with me if I were left deserted on an island. ...if the island had a dvd player... and electricity for that matter. Anyway, I LOVE it!

A great foreign film to watch, the story of an introvert misdiagnosed with a heart condition attempts to make the people she loves live a happier life. This movie has romance, comedic relief and is a great film full of human emotion and love.
