I've always been a fan of a more solid guitar, the reassuring weight, the resonance, and perhaps because they're something to hide behind. My first was a telecaster. Then I heard Billy Bragg. When this guitar came out, I was fascinated by the range of sounds he'd wring from it, the jangly top end, the warm lows. It's really well-suited to just letting a vocal and the guitar sound shine. I'd recommend reading the proper guitar reviews to find out about the semi-hollow body, pickups, and technical details. I just love this. Which is how you should feel about a guitar.
