Poland spring is the epitome of blandish spring water for the masses. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's one of many brands under a large conglomerate that sells spring waters all over the country. (No relation to any James Bond plots. Hopefully.)

When I say bland, I mean it's really, terribly unexciting. Poland Spring filters and adjusts the minerals to tiny amounts and in precise ratios to each other. This gives the water an H20 taste. Meaning, it tastes like.... water. Almost nothing else reaches the tongue. It's refreshing in that, well, every water is refreshing way, but really nothing special.

Bottom line: Not worth the casual aquaphile's time. Perfectly drinkable but almost no taste. Some people with stomach problems actually prefer the mineral-less taste. Otherwise, this is the water aqua-haters love to hate.
