Hilarious! If I actually dried my hair on a regular basis, then I'd be all over this.. so obvious, yet genius!

Can this get anymore amazing? I Think not.

The idea of blow drying my hair with something that makes me look like I'm going to blow my brains out... I'm not going to lie - this makes me giggle. Profusely. For like fifteen minutes straight. And when I regain composure, I look at the picture and start up all over again.

Part of this uncontrollable giggling is amusement. But the bulk of it... I'm giggling from extreme nervousness.

This thing... it's like a wink beyond the grave at Edie Sedgwick, Marilyn Monroe, and every other pop cultural starlet suicide... a nod to all of the It Girls who primped themselves to death, a nod to every woman Elizabeth Wurtzel ever idolized. And even though, admittedly, part of me is giggling because the item is clever in its irony, it makes me THINK, and it fills me with compassion for every woman who was ever forced to wear her beauty like a mask.

This is part novelty item, part cautionary tale.

And the girlie pearl teal handle? That's just punctuation. As if blowing one's brains out with a blow dryer weren't punctuation enough....

Does blow dryer come complete with free therapy sessions? ;)

Does anyone know a website that is actually selling this product in the US? I have found one in France, but it is not available right now and one in Japan, but I don't have the foggiest clue on translating japanese. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have to have one of these hair driers, I love it!
