Okay, so this is one of the craziest, smartest things I've seen in a looong time. You can actually PLANT each month's page! I want one.......

What a fun idea! New for 2009: Keep track of the year with our 5 x 5 inch handmade plantable paper designer's edition monthly desk calendar that creates beauty and leaves nothing behind but flowers - and a completely reusable tin. When a month passes by just plant the handmade paper page and wait for wildflowers to grow. Simply place the seed embedded paper into soil, add water and wait for Bird's Eye, Clarkia, Coreopsis, Poppy, Catchfly and Snap Dragon to come to life.

The Eco Calendar is similar to some seed imbedded gift wrap that I came across a few months ago. The one thing that I have always hated about calendars, is the waste of paper. I mean, you can recycle them, but ultimately it still seems like a waste to me. This calendar, however, is a perfect solution for me.

As you would normally discard a previous month's page, with the Eco Calendar, you plant the page. Yes, each page is a different grouping of wildflower seed.

Each month's calendar page contains wildflower seeds that you can plant. A wonderful way to remember the passing months.
