The cool new Swann FlashlightDVR ($249) is a portable heavy-duty flashlight that allows you to capture video and audio, take photos and even record in the dark with built-in infrared night vision. It's the perfect flashlight for spies, law enforcement, security professionals, investigators and well, discreet personal applications.
This innovative, multi-purpose flashlight features a solid weather-resistant aluminum housing, 3 levels of illumination intensity from a 3-watt cool-white LED bulb and seventeen infrared LEDs to provide night vision up to 13' for nighttime recording. It only has 128 MB of internal memory, but it does accept Micro SD cards for external storage up to 2 GB. It records video at 30 fps with 640 x 480 resolution, has a built-in microphone to capture audio and it can easily be connected to your PC via USB.
Think of it this way. As you investigate a disturbance in the night, you'll not only be able to see the acid-drooling alien creature silently waiting for you in the corner of your living room, but you'll also have your quick demise captured in glorious detail on video for the online world to analyze later!
