This book deals with the struggles that I had to endure with being homeless, raped, abused, and coping with a mental illness. I have discussed how I had to overcome struggles such as my dad being on drugs, and the endless struggles my family had with trying to gain custody of me, but were unsuccessful due to the laws that if you have one living parent that he or she has first choice on where the children will live.
