I found this fantastic looking australian beer brand a while ago, but recently posted it to notcot.org. Jean from notcot was so excited by the little green glass buddha that she contacted the company directly and is getting free samples sent to LA (score!). Since I'm not much of a beer drinker, you'll have to rely on someone else to give a report on the taste, but the design of the bottle is fantastic, and can be re-used in many different ways. As far as I know Lucky Beer is only available in Australia for now. (via oO's very eclectic)

in Manhattan...247 E. 81st St., between 2nd & 3rd Aves. Great stuff, and of course, a wild bottle.

I was in Vegas last month, and had a Lucky Beer! I loved it. It's similar to a Killians Irish Red. Not too strong, not to weak. I absloutely loved it, but the problem is now I cannot find it anywhere!!!!! HELP ME!!!! My trusty old Bud Light just doesn't compare!!!!

Great branding and packaging from Australia's Lucky Beer Co- right down to the foil stamped, kraft carton. The beer tastes pretty good too!

Just picked up a bottle of this puppy up at Whole Foods for under $5.

Decent beer, esp when served freezing cold, but we're all in it for the bottle, which, after consumption, makes a very cute vase (it gets cuter the more Lucky Beers you drink).
