Of course I can't make a list of useful gardening products without mentioning my book, You Grow Girl: The Groundbreaking Guide to Gardening. I wrote this as an inspiring how-to guide for beginners and intermediate gardeners alike who have been overwhelmed and intimidated by gardening books in the past. It's an easy-to-read primer that covers the facts without being dumbed down or pretending things are easy when they aren't. And since I'm an urban gardener without a backyard I was sure to include lots of crafty projects and tips for the thrifty container gardener. Take it from me: you can grow a garden just about anywhere!
