That special jezebel of yours is going to fall in love with the variety of eclectic sounds Jesca has put together during this little project she calls the After listening to her tracks and catching her at the Troubador last week in complete hypnotic trance...I agree with Tom Waits...."her music is like going swimming in a lake at night." When the sticker on the CD is a quote from Tom Waits saying that listening to this album is a bit like running through a forest, you kinda have to get it just to find out what in the heck that means! I'm still not sure, but I do know that it's a really great little record. Intelligentactile 101 is my favorite track. Popy and freaking weird.
