One of my favorite artists is Yoshitomo Nara which he draws and sculpts a lot of delightful characters that is always refreshing to see. This book, The Lonesome Puppy, is about a puppy so big that no one notices him. Reading the book, you get a sense of wonder and delight that only Nara can bring to your eyes.

The Lonesome Puppy tells the story of a puppy so large no one notices him, until one day a little girl discovers his giant paw and starts climbing. The book is also a great way to get some contemporary art appreciation into your child's growing mind and imbue his or her dreams with magic from this Japanese Pop Art star.
