I just got one of these and haven't stopped having fun with it. It is installed close enough to the front door so that people can hear it from outside when the ring our bell. Only they don't get a bell any more. For poker night I set it up to say "C'mon in, beer is in the fridge." My wife wants me to program Elvis singing 'Love Me Tender' - yea maybe later. There are a lot of good built in sounds too. I like having it set to the dog bark when we are not home. Might not scare off good burglers, but you never know... Our oldest is graduating next month so we'll have it playing "Pomp & Circumstance" for our party guests. I can't wait for Halloween. It has some scary music and even some screams. I would have thought it would have the Happy Birthday song but I think I read somewhere that it is copyrighted. Overall I found iChime very easy to use and install. I was surprised as I am not really a gadget freak. Drawbacks? - my son recorded some heavy metal stuff and likes to switch it to that to annoy me. Maybe it should have parental controls...
