I know there's a lot of you Mac haters out there. I guess you love confusing interfaces and convoluted repair instructions. Don't forget your precious viruses.
Anyway, I love my Macbook Pro. It replaced my 13" Titanium Powerbook that met an untimely demise. Computer + 20 inch drop + concrete = @#!?**#^!!!
Any problems I've had with this baby, I've been able to fix myself. I also hook it up to my flatscreen to watch movies online.

I've been a PC user my whole life. Two weeks with this laptop completely converted me to a Mac user (for laptops) for life. It doesn't crash, works when I want to and how I want to. This is the best computer investment I have ever made.

The Aluminum MacBook Pro is an advanced computing platform capable of incredible processing power. Its design is a bit more prosaic than that of the Ulm-inspired Titanium Powerbooks that preceded it, but since those needed to be painted and since that paint flaked, it is better. Regrettably, the thin aluminum has a tendency to warp easily, particularly at the most delicate points (e.g. over the card slot and the latch button). Moreover, it is ludicrously easy to dent (recognizing this, Apple generally refuses to repair machines that have a mechanical defect but that carry any scars under warranty, and instead pockets the tab for the repair, making a handy profit).

That said, 2 processors, a reasonably large hard drive, the ability to play virtually any film in existence, the flexibility to run either the MacOS or Windows and built in 802.11n networking make this a ludicrously capable unit.

17" is not much more unwieldy than 15" but offers a significant improvement in screen resolution allowing you to do serious work in Photoshop or in Web development on the go.

I love my MacBook! I truly could not imagine my daily life without it. 17-inch is perfect for creating ad's on creative suite and emailing at the same time. Sold for life.

ps. Never heard someone say, "I love my PC."
