I never used to use scented candles in my house. I was worried that the scent would be cloying or overpowering. Or that my home would end up smelling like a powder room or like someone's grandmother. Anyway, I happened upon a Mrs. Meyer's display of products in a local grocery store and after smelling one of the candles, decided to try it.
I have been pleasantly surprised! I have been burning this candle everyday since then to freshen the house after smoking and for general dog smell. It's amazing! It doesn't so much mask the odor as it does just extinguish it. The entire house smells of lavender, which is wonderful. I'm sold! (via drugstore.com)
