I guess because this looks like a lip balm, I thought it would wear like a lip balm, but that isn't the case at all. Like the spray-on version, it has that "dry oil" feeling. It doesn't add any shine to your skin and it sinks into your skin. When I applied it to my lips, I think they felt a little slick for a few seconds and then they felt like I hadn't put anything on them. I wouldn't say that they felt dry. After an entire day, my lips didn't look dry or chapped at all.
