This super-sheer tinted moisturizer gives skin the dewiest, most radiant glow (my favorite is Walnut--perfect on golden brown to deeper brown skintones). Doesn't provide tons of coverage, but it's perfect if you have good skin and want to look a tad more "finished."

Tinted moisturizer is lighter than regular foundation, and with an SPF in it, you get three steps in one: moisturizer, foundation, and sunscreen. According to About.com, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 is "hands down the best...on the market."

I find most foundations too heavy, but LM tinted moisturizer is amazing. It was listed in the annual "InStyle best Beauty Buys:" so I decided to give it a go. Fabulous! I'm hooked, because you just cannot look bad with this on. Somehow it manages to be sheer and cover flaws at the same time. very lightweight and it offers SPF 20. One word of caution...the oil free does not work as well in my opinion. It is thicker and spreads less easily. The colors are also a bit off (I was using Nude). The regular formula is the way to go.

I adore Laura Merceir's tinted moisturizer for the sole fact that I double it as a foundation, possibly quite the makeup boo boo but it stays on a majority of the day and isn't cakey looking- always a plus.

TIP: Go light on the foundation and concealer! Foundation should let your natural complexion show. You can do this by using a tinted moisturizer, which gives you the moisture you need to plump and prep your skin, and a sheer coverage that won't heavily settle into fine lines and wrinkles.

I love Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer. It gives great coverage and moisture without clogging pores and gives a dewy finish. The oil free is great because it still gives a dewy finish. $42.00
