Imbibers and/or designers may prefer the solid, textual feel of Whiskey Stones, but those of us on a budget can do almost as good with a pack of IcyCools Reusable Ice Cubes.
It's a pretty simple idea - take a similar plastic to those used in freezer packs and make them into cubes. You keep 'em in the freezer then pop 'em in any drink (coffee, lemonade) for all the cooling power of ice with none of the watering-down.
The cubes measure 1 1/8 inches on each side, and come in a handy reusable container. Made out of food grade HDPE plastic (which is BPA free).
Only $7 for a set of 24! The one in the photo has 8 dark blue, 8 light blue, and 8 white cubes. For the same price, there is also an all white option, a red, white and blue option (for bastille day), and even a citrus colored, wedge shaped option for some extra visual effect.
