Something crazy and new... and I'm not quite sure how truly Rubiks it is. I always pictured an electronic cube would allow you to solve it like a normal one, but when you get tired of trying you can just click a button and it resets to that beautiful beckoning solved mode. I don't think this one's gonna work that way. And really, the tagline is "An all new cube that anyone can do." I think it misses the point... if anyone could do it, nobody would get obsessed! Ah, 80s comebacks.

A friend of mine and I were playing around with this an entire night once, he taught me that there was a certain way, at least for him to solve this monstrosity of a cube. Align this color and that color here, match these two points there, logarithms this etc. After watching him solve it about a dozen times, I still could only get one face to match, though that was rewarding enough for me.

I really need to get one of these. I love the original Rubik's Cubes, but the electronic component has my mind racing with the possibilities. It's almost like they combined an old school Simon game with the Rubik's Cube.
