Ah, ties. Whether they represent the yoke of business oppression or an element of style to you, owning a good one can't hurt. For this, I direct your attention to Italo Feretti, a purebred Italian firm specializing in the finest mens silk ties.
I like the Feretti style. They dip their toes into many pools but never stay in one. You'll find hints of 60's Mod, clean, linear designs and many others, but it's the way everything is brought together that makes Feretti's own, unique style. While they're not Ricci modern, they certainly aren't boring - you'll find azure blues, tangerine oranges and the like to make any suit 'pop'.
They have no official online distribution at the moment, but a pretty extensive US network of retailers. Check their site to find your closest one, as the pictures here really don't represent their full line.
