In the early '60s, what girl didn't dream of having a "Princess" phone next to her bed so she could chat in private with her friends? It's reminiscent of the original, down to the old-fashioned heft missing from today's modern phones.
Yet this phone is 100% compatible with the services your phone company offers, including caller ID and call waiting. Has touch-tone push buttons cleverly disguised by the vintage-looking dial, auto redial, ringer volume control, and touch-tone or pulse operation. (via The Vermont Country Store)

Sounds like the princess needs call waiting! Is your princess finally getting phone calls from boys who want to date her! Well it's time to buy her her own phone! If she's too young to date she can at least pretend to be talking to Snow White on the other line!

So pretty in pink! The Princess phone was created in 1959 and this is the modernized version with push-button dialing in rotary dial style, flash/redial and ringer volume.

It's for you! It's little, and it's lovely. The original desk phone, updated with modern technology and a streamlined new look. The Princess Phone, originally introduced in 1959, is compact and beautifully designed. Push button operation with rotary styling; flash/redial; ringer volume and on/off switch; tone/pulse; extended matching cord.

I wanted one of these in my room so badly in junior high. I pictured laying on my bed for hours checking out my Ralph Macchio and Chad Lowe pictures ripped from Teen Beat and taped on my ceiling.
