In the photo they've got the sides folded down. When these are unfolded they look more like shoes than slippers. I've been through 2 pairs in 6 years and haven't worn any other slippers since I put these on. These are like more sensible (in california, at least) ugg boots. They are sold at drugstores and at Big 5 in the wintertime and they are very inexpensive, usually twenty bucks.

I have been wearing these slippers for the past 6 years. The same pair! You'd think this $20 item I bought from Fred Meyer would have fallen apart by now...but no, not Emu Ridge. What's amazing is how I feel when I put them on: comfortable, confident, and ready to take on the world (or my living room, if you know what I mean!). I recommend these shoes with all of my "sole". Buy these and stay one "step" ahead! You certainly won't "slip" to the bottom of the corporate ladder! But seriously folks, buy some.
