I prepare the apples for my signature âChristmas In A Jarâ¢â apple butter. Infuse tomato sauce with the flavors of garlic and oregano before I cook them. It can take the place of a mortar and pestle in some cases when you want to get the most out of the flavors you are trying to layer in a sauce.

This food mill will make the perfect, creamiest mashed potatoes every time. I haven't made them any other way since I got this! Comes with fine, medium, and coarse discs so you can fine tune your mashes and purees to the perfect texture you are looking for. (via Williams-Sonoma)
