Hand-crank device Great for the emergency kit or as back-up power. 2 minutes of crank time equals 6 minutes talk time or 30 inutes stand-by. Super light-weight. Surprisingly affordable at $25.

I hate it when my cell phone dies and I'm no where near an outlet (or my charger). But with this, you can just crank the handle a few times and your cell phone will charge anywhere.

This is cool. I've been in countless situations in which I've needed just enough of a cell phone charge for a few minutes of talk time, and haven't had access to either a charger or an outlet. Manually wind this charger up for 2 minutes, connect your phone, and you have 5-6 minutes of talk time, or up to 30 minutes standby.

Cell phones are fabulous until the charge runs out and you are stuck somewhere in the middle of no where! But with a SideWinder Cell Phone Charger you can go backpacking, bicycling or anywhere in the world with confidence. All it takes is a about 2 minutes of cranking and you can make contact with civilization!

If you're like me, you're always worried about running out of battery time on your cell phone. I'm constantly charging mine — in the car, office or home.
But with the SideWider, you can stop worrying. You just plug this 2.5-oz. device into your phone and hand crank it for two minutes to give yourself six minutes of talk time. Winner of the prestigious Laptop Magazine Editor's Choice award and NAHC Field Tested Seal of Approval, it's compatible with most cell phones and does NOT require batteries or electricity. $24.95 at www.istdesigns.com.
