This brooch is made from a real scarab beetle, cubic zirconia stones and gold brass. It appears to be very well made, and in a way is straight out of the Victorian era and it's love for taxidermic curiosities. A thing of beauty created from an actual creature.
It features spread wings and 2 rows of CZ stones;
1st row is across the neck and the 2nd row goes down its spine.
It measures about 1 1/2" by 1 1/2". (via etsy.com)
