Description

A naive young woman (Anne Hathaway) comes to New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors, the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep).

Because you will want to watch it over and over again.... A wonderfully funny movie...

Who doesn't love a movie where the underdog comes out on top? Makeovers, fashion, romance... love this movie.

Anne What's-her-face annoys me but she was actually bearable in this highly fashionable movie. And I just loved it. Superbly acted and great storyline and, most of all, breath-taking fashions!

Slick, stylish movie about a girl who just wants to fullfill her dreams of becoming a writer in New York City. Meryl Streep gives Miranda Priestly life and depth that was lacking in the book's character, while Anne Hathaway does a decent job of playing a decent person in an indecent industry. Emily Blunt is hilarious as her snotty office mate, while Stanley Tucci plays the unlikely character of a kind gay man in the fashion industry.

Sure it was no much like the book- but a good silly girl fashion movie all the same. Love it!

It's not the 'meatiest' of films, but The Devil Wears Prada is a fun piece of eye-candy. I did love the book, and I wish the movie was a bit more ruthless, but nevertheless Anne Hathaway was just gorgeous to watch, and all of the characters were quirky and loveable. Emily Blunt is up for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes this year. Comparably, I don't think she outshines her other opponents, but she certainly deserves some serious cred...she was hilarious and viscious. This is fun film to rent - even the guys will probably like it.
