I will admit, I still tend to be one of the "Cool Kids" that doesn't wear a helmet when riding. There are those times when minor concussions came into my life that I wish I had been wearing one. After the last minor concussion, I decided to pick up a helmet for the days I was going to be riding in the parks. The Hi-Fi Audio Helmet by Red works excellent for myself. The helmet has headphones so you can still ride and get that perfect flow or pick me up song when you need it. Wear a dumb, don't be helmet... Wait, that should be Wear a helmet, don't be dumb.

I used to have an old RED frequency (I think) and the bloody thing would press on my temples like vices on a crab claw. And they lacked ear pads, which on a freezing -19c day in niseko meant that your ears were soon sprouting icicles.
Then I got the hifi .. and man what a difference! Its super light and ultra comfortable, and the audio is great. My friends all wear Giros which look like hi-tech bicycle helmets. Much prefer the clean minimal lines on the hifi.
