Cool gadget with cool games.

Nintendo DS has presented the special edition "Chinese Dragon" in celebration of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Nintendo DS Lite comes with a screen protector, USB charger cable, protector case and UK power charger.

This is a staple when I'm travelling. The DS is compact and light and there are quite a few games to choose from.

This little game system packs enough power for pretty sophisticated intro animation/cut scene animation, audio capabilities, as well as the DS's mic and touch screen. What I personally love is that the backlight can be adjusted according to how bright you need the screen, the lowest setting of which is still good enough to see by and increases battery time. Speaking of which, this thing lasts forever -- especially since simply closing it doesn't turn off whatever game you're playing -- it simply 'pauses' it, even for games without a pause function. There's a variety of games for all ages and interests, most of which make use of at least one of the DS's special additions (the mic, the touch screen, etc.). My DS has kept me from losing it on public transportation vehicles more times than I can count.

It's been a while since I was a "gamer," but a coworker got me hooked on the convenience of this new age Gameboy. It's portability, great screen resolution, and extended battery life make it great for travel (mine's in my purse full time for those lame waits in doctors' offices, post offices, etc.).

Great graphics and even my 4 and 6 year old love it...the games are inexpensive too and there are tons to choose from!

The DS Lite crushes the competition in the handheld game category. Mario Kart anyone?
