With this surprising object the Dutch design studio SOAP ateliers wants to humour the rich and expensive materials of these days; from a flat cardboard box to a graceful, 3-dimensional object in about 5 minutes.

The chandelier is made as a 'DIY' construction set. The 'user guide' is on the outside of the box. Watch out, don’t throw away the box. The box itself is also part of the chandelier. Inside the box are 12 cardboard curls and 7 pieces of rope (for suspension and connection of the chandelier).

OEPS1chandelier is available in white.

OEPS no. 1 DIY chandelier can be used plain or as a decorated object, and can be illuminated by Christmas lights. Use your own imagination to give the chandelier a personal touch.

Note: due to the self assembled nature of this item, no opened packages will be accepted for return.
