I received this as a gift from my brother. He's always trying to get the wines that score the most points. Personally I was skeptical, and I like to try things that interest me and not just because they were on some wine of the year list, which apparently this was. Lo and behold, though, this was every bit as good as the high point score suggested. After drinking this Shiraz I went online and picked up a few more bottles. It's one of my favorite wines to open on a special occasion now, and I also think it makes a great gift for the boss or a friend since it's really nice but not overpriced. (via domaine547)
