This heat shield doesn't make my Dell laptop run any cooler, but it does an excellent job of protecting my legs from being scorched. Plus it's way thinner than the (popular) Belkin CushTop and can even squeeze into my laptop carrying case.

Say goodbye to the 2nd degree burns on your lap with the XPAD. I go everywhere with my lap top and I am always writing on the go. This little beauty is perfect. It fits in my lap top case easily and keeps the heat off of me. The non slip base is perfect for the commuter. Work while you travel.
