The HP Photosmart A626 is a fully portable easy to use printer. You can use it either plugged into the wall or purchase and additional battery to use it anywhere. The controls are very easy, just plug in the memory card or USB key to the front, scroll through the photos using the touchscreen, adjust them if necessary, and print. You can also add clip art, frames, from the printers memory and use the included stylus to draw on the pictures before you print them out. Great for good quality pictures on the go. A similar quality to drugstore and kiosk prints.

My mom has this and we use it all the time. It's great to not have to go to the photo store to get prints. These print photos quickly in your own home!

An aggressive photo-taker (1,087 pictures taken on one seven-day trip to California, anyone?), and graphic designer, I am always looking for a way to creatively keep and display the pictures I have taken. Not content to just have thousands of pics chilling on my hard drive, I knew I needed a photo printer.

The HP Photosmart is smaller than a toaster, and much more functional, too. Various options to import your pics, including slots for memory cards and USB jumpdrives as well. The small display screen allows you to pick and choose what photos to print, and make small changes like adding borders and formatting sizes.

I use this to print everything from snapshots right off my camera, to carefully Photo-shopped 4x6" pieces of art. The cost of quality photo paper and ink cartridges are relatively low, making this an excellent investment. A small but mighty little printer! (via Best Buy)
