Vanilla Bicycles _ hand crafted in portland, oregon

A reincarnation of the lovely Schwinn Breeze, improved because of the addition of all the engineering/component knowledge gained over the last 30 years and also because, ya know, it isn't going to rust up in a month because it's not 30 years old.

A dangerous discovery, for sure, because my dear friend "buttercup," a 1974 yellow Schwinn Breeze was just stolen yesterday from in front of our office. Jerks.

These guys are upwards of $2,000. So, though worth every penny (they're true craftsman bikes), one should invest in a better lock than I was using. Or an attack dog.

Vanilla makes some incredible bikes. I live in Portland see quite a few of them on the streets and at the races. (via Alyson)
