Aside from the unavoidable mess you'd make every time you place your umbrella in this stand, this understated piece economically offers everything you need in a local that makes an umbrella a constant accessory. It's just a concept, but one can hope.

In the words of Terry Pratchett, I have always believed that "In any list of useful furniture, the one found at the bottom would be the umbrella stand". This design, however, is so stylish that I believe that I must reconsider my opinion.
