This movie was panned by the critics but I found it hysterical. It doesn't hurt that I'm a big fan of Catherine Keener and Ed Norton. Ed plays his characters with such sincerity that you have to believe that in real life he's a nice guy.

If you're in a silly mood and ready for some campy humor give Smoochy a chance. (via amazon.com)

Brilliant dark comedy. Robin Williams and Edward Norton are priceless. Another great work by Danny DeVito. Funny throughout, if you're like me you will be screaming with laughs until the end. A very underrated movie. Go out and buy it today for yourself or as a gift.

I have no idea why this movie was panned. It's one of my all time favorite black comedies. It's surreal and bizarre without being campy; it's ironic and satirical without being preachy. Danny Devito doesn't get enough credit for the movies he directs and produces (like this one). Funny funny funny. (via Nicole)
