This is one of my favorite of all the Asterix series. In 'Asterix and Cleopatra', the story is that following an argument with Julius Caesar, Cleopatra commissions architect Edifis to build a magnificent palace. Druid Getafix, aided by Asterix and Obelix, travel to Egypt to help where they are entranced by the Sphinx, the pyramids and Cleopatra's nose (we even get to see how the Sphinx lost its nose!). Rival architect Artifis seeks to foil the construction. It is beautifully drawn and hilarious!!!
